The use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for civil purposes

October 19, 2016 in Saint-Petersburg was held a panel discussion “The use of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) for civil purposes”. The object of this panel discussion was consideration and analysis of novels of air legislation in Russian Federation. Because of the entry into force on 30.03.2016 of the Federal Legislative Act №462-ФЗ from 30.12.2015 "On amendments to the Air Code of the Russian Federation regarding the use of unmanned aircraft". The target audience is operators (pilots) of unmanned civil aircraft.

The speakers of panel discussion were: the Director of Institute of air and space law AEROHELP Oleg Aksamentov, the Head of St.-Petersburgs Zonal Center of Joint ATM System Dmitriy Isaev, the Head of Aeronautical Information Group at St. Petersburg Zonal Center of Joint ATM System Igor Tretyakov, the Deputy Head of the Legal Department of Saint-Petersburg branch of JSC "SOGAZ" Sergey Kovalevskiy and the Head of Air Transport Department in St. Petersburg "External transport agency" Maria Petrytik.
